To overcome low self-esteem, you need to make conscious efforts to improve the way you think and feel about yourself. My coaching style, using a range of modalities can help you and offers advice and support.

How I can help you
Using NLP techniques and hypnosis is a very effective way to improve confidence and self esteem. We are our worst critic! Negative self-talk can make a person hyper-critical of themselves. Such excessive criticism shuns the voice of one’s intuition and the person is led far away from their true self.

There may be times when you do feel more confident, so it’s important to be aware and appreciate what the circumstances are so that you can potentially apply those tools to other, more difficult, areas of your life.

What is self esteem?
If you have low self-esteem then you are not able to generalise from the good results you are getting, you lack the ability to hear praise and because of this you will constantly underachieve. You may spend a whole lifetime underestimating yourself and feel unworthy.

- Can I take a compliment without deflecting it, or without qualifying it in my head?
- Can I list 5 things about myself without hesitating?
- How to I react to trying new things?
- What am I telling myself when. I'm about to do something challenging?

Try these confident boosting tips
The simplest and most effective way to take a compliment is to simply say "thank you". Hear the compliment in your head or say it out loud to yourself and say "thank you". Practice in fromt of a mirror.Always smile and say thank you when receiving a comment.
List everything you can think of that you like about yourself. Do this over a period of a week. use your values and beliefs, your environment, and your behaviour. You will be surprised how big your list will end up.
Try new things
If you suffer from anxiety and fear, spell out the worse case scenario in your m ind. Sometimes this is enough to make you realise how unlikely the fear really is. Think about how someone who likes trying new things would go about trying something new.
People with self-esteem don't need to prove themselves. The don't boast, put others down, show off, name drop, hog the conversation and make it all about them.
High self-esteem looks like this; quietly confident, don't fish for compliments, but do accept them, humble, are interested in others and not bothered about receiving external recognition.
